The College Secretary National Defence College Nigeria, Air Vice Marshal Shafiyi Kudu, recently applauded the Commandant National Defence College, Rear Admiral Adeniyi Osinowo, for his giant developmental strides in adding structural aesthetic to the College environment. The College Secretary commended the Commandant while commissioning the remodeled National Defence College Vocational Training Centre located at Ushafa Camp, Abuja. The College Secretary while delivering his remarks during the commissioning ceremony seized the opportunity to express his profound appreciation to the Commandant who conceived the plan to remodel the Vocational Training Centre. He added that the Commandant “is an achiever per excellence and that the Ushafa community and the College at large will enjoy the transformed facility”.
Relatively, the College Secretary asserted during his remarks that the remodeling of the vocational centre will mitigate the problem of space for training individuals and the college community for capacity development. He therefore urged benefactors of the noble project to make judicious use of the facility. He thereafter reassured the College community in Ushafa of the College’s continued role in the development of manpower for technological and national advancement.
In another development, the Manager of the Vocational Centre, Mrs Rachael Adeniyi, thanked the Commandant for the completion and commissioning of the Vocational Centre. She assured the Commandant that the facility will be adequately utilized for the interest of humanity. Similarly, the Manager said, the expansion of the vocational center will create more room for admission of more community members to gain vocational training. The commissioning ceremony was graced by highly placed dignitaries.
