NASRDA to Deploy Space Technology for Enhanced Human Security In Nigeria

National Space Research and Development Agency, NASRDA, has promised to commit resources towards the efficient use of space technology for enhanced human security in the country.

The Director General/Chief Executive Officer, Dr Halilu Ahmad Shada, represented by the Managing Director, Geo Apps Plus Limited, Dr David Jeb made the disclosure while delivering a lecture on the topic: Space Technology and Human Security: Role of National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) to National Defence College, NDC Course 30 Participants in Abuja.

The Lecture is part of the Programme for NDC Course 30, Module 4 on Science and Technology sponsored by the Directorate of Information Communication and Technology Department.

According to the DG, NASRDA has developed a real time monitoring system for monitoring national security entities in the country.

While rounding up the lecture, the Deputy Commandant/Director of Studies, Major General EV Onumajuru, who commended the speaker for well delivered topic, called for improvement in communication sharing, therefore charged the Course 30 Participants to ponder on ways to support the agency in an effort to achieveits mandates.
