Brig Gen Olusegun Ayodeji ADENUGA

Director of Finance and Accounts (DFA)

Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Olusegun Ayodeji Adenuga hails from Ogun State and was born on 6 July 1969.  He had his secondary education at the Nigerian Military School, Zaria where he obtained his West African School Certificate.  Thereafter he proceeded to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and was commissioned into the Nigerian Army on the 10 September, 1993 as a member of 40th Regular Course.  He also holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Public Administration and Strategic Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and University of Ibadan respectively.  He is a certified National Accountant from the Nigeria College of Accounting, Jos.

The senior officer has under gone several military courses in the course of his carrier.  Some of them are the Young Officer’s Course (YOC) Finance, from Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration, Apapa, YOC Infantry at the Infantry Corps and Centre, Jaji.  Others include Senior Staff Course, at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, CDFA Course at NASFA, Apapa and the Strategic Course at the National Defence College, Nigeria.

Brig Gen OA Adenuga has held several appointments in the Nigerian Army Finance Corps.  He was the pioneer Deputy Defence Attache Finance at the Defence Section, Embassy of Nigeria, Brasilia – Brazil.  He also served as the CDFA, HQ 2 Division Nigerian Army Finance before his current appointment as the Director of Finance, National Defence College, Nigeria.  He is a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, member, National Institute of Management and member Nigeria Economic Society.  Brig Gen Adenuga is happily married with children, he enjoys playing chess, listening and discussing geopolitical issues.
