Commandant National Defence College Nigeria Receives German Defence Attaché On Courtesy Visit

The Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC) Nigeria, Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Olotu, received the German Defence Attaché to Nigeria, Colonel Bouvekamp Boris, on a courtesy visit to the College in Abuja. The visit, which evolved into a strategic discussion, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, capacity-building, and enhancing existing training initiatives at the NDC. Rear Admiral Olotu emphasised the College’s commitment to leveraging its cordial relationship with the German Embassy to explore training exchanges and professional courses for NDC staff.

Colonel Bouvekamp Boris expressed Germany’s willingness to support the NDC, stating that Nigeria holds a significant position in Germany’s strategic priorities. He assured the Commandant of continued assistance in facilitating training opportunities and knowledge-sharing programs.

The discussions, attended by some NDC Directors and staff, featured an interactive session where both parties exchanged ideas on potential areas of collaboration, particularly in training, course development, and capacity enhancement.
