NIS Reiterates Commitment to Border Management and Human Security In Nigeria
Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, has reiterated commitment to checkmate irregular migration towards advancing seamless migration management and enhanced human security in Nigeria.
Acting Comptroller General, NIS, Idris Isha Jere, who was represented by the Deputy Comptroller General, NIS, Anthonia Opara during a lecture titled: Irregular Migration and Human Security in Nigeria: The Nigeria Immigration Service in Focus delivered to the National Defence College (NDC) Course 30 Participants in Abuja.
According to the Acting Comptroller General, who sought for more funding to deliver on its mandate, noted that the challenge of control and management of irregular migration is enormous, hence the call for collaborating effort among all stakeholders.
