President Tinubu Commends NDC Course 33; Demands Translation of Research into Actionable National Security Solutions
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday 13 November 2025 received a comprehensive presentation on the Research Paper by participants of Course 33, National Defence College (NDC), Abuja. The high-level session, held at the State House, marked a critical phase in the academic requirements for the participants’ completion of their strategic-level training.

The senior officers of Course 33 unveiled key findings and recommendations focused on three critical national pillars: Strengthening National Security Management; Refining Defence Policy Formulation and Enhancing Inter-Agency Collaboration to effectively address the nation’s emerging security challenges.
President Tinubu lauded the National Defence College for its unwavering commitment to developing strategic leadership and policy expertise among senior military, paramilitary, and civilian officers. The President stressed the importance of bridging the gap between academic strategy and practical implementation. He specifically charged the participants to ensure their research outcomes are not merely intellectual exercises but are translated directly into practical, impactful solutions that align with his administration’s core commitment to national security, stability, and economic progress.
The National Defence College, through its Higher Defence Management Course, continues to serve as a vital platform for advancing professional military education and promoting strategic thought, contributing significantly to the defence and security architecture of Nigeria and the West African region.
