A Seminar with the Theme “Agriculture and National Development In Nigeria” was held on 4 November 2014 in the main Auditorium of the College. A paper titled “Agric Allied Industries and Value-addition In Nigeria: Prospect for Food Security and International Trade” was presented by Professor Benjamin Ahmed of the Department of Agriculture Economics and Rural Sociology, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria

 

Also, another paper  titled “The Roles of Financial Sector In Agricultural Development In Nigeria” was presented by Mr Ernest Ihedigbo, who represented the GMD/CEO of First Bank of Nigeria. The seminar was followed by interractive session moderated by Brig Gen Dadan-Garba (Rtd) – a Member of the Faculty.
