National Defence College Partners Nigerian Army Resource Centre In Research and Curriculum Development
The Commandant National Defence College, Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Olotu assures that NDC is ready to partner with NARC in the area of research and training. The Commandant gave this assurance when he received participants of Leadership and Strategic Studies Course 2/2023 of the NARC at the College Headquarters in Abuja. He says collaboration and synergy usually create an excellent platform to brainstorm on new ideas and innovations that will help improve the standard of training in all military training institutions across the country. He added that improved training of personnel of the armed forces and other paramilitary in recent times has boosted the operational capacity of the armed forces and their counterparts in various operations. The Commandant reiterates the readiness of NDC as the apex military institution in the country to render necessary support especially in areas of research and curriculum development.
Earlier, Major General Gabriel Ode Rtd who led a team comprising Resource persons and 36 participants of the LSSC said they were in the College to gain deeper appreciation of relationship between military leadership, strategy, and national security as well as to interact with the College community to tap from experiences considering the NDC’s role in the formal and advanced military education and professionalism, particularly decision-making process under democratic dispensation.
