Nigeria Institute of Management Conducts Executive Training Programme for National Defence College

The Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) has conducted an Executive Training for participants of NDC Course 32. The week-long training which was inaugurated by the Institute’s Deputy President, Commodore Abimbola Ayuba (Rtd) provides opportunity for inductees to be exposed to basic management and leadership skills which will help them in effective management of men and resources under  command. Highlight of the training is the induction ceremony where the participants took oath and presented with certificates as new members of the Institute. The certificates were presented by the National President of NIM, Dr Mrs Christiana Vincent Njor.

Dr Christiana Njor remarked that the training and induction for participants of the NDC is a result of collaboration between the College and the  Institute which is aimed  at enhancing better skills for effective management of officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria and their civilian counterparts being trained in the College.

In his remarks, the Commandant, Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Olotu commended management of the Institute for bringing the programme to the College and called on the inducted members to utilise the knowledge gained and equip themselves with relevant skills needed for effective management of both men and resources.
