College Librarian – Col MM Bunza
Col Muktar Mohammed Bunza was born at Bunza, in Bunza Local Government Area of Kebbi State on 28 December 1963. He holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from University of Ibadan in 1995. Col MM Bunza was at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, College of Education Sokoto, Nassarawa Teachers Training College Kainji and Bunza Waje Primary School for his tertiary, secondary and primary school education.

Col MM Bunza was commissioned into the Nigerian Army on 04 October 1989 as a Second Lieutenant and rose to his present rank on 04 October 2008. On Commissioning, Col Bunza was deployed to the Nigerian Army Education Corps (NAEC). He has held several Command, Staff and Instructional appointments which include; Instructor, Nigerian Army School of Education (NASE) Ilorin; Deputy Academy Librarian, NDA Kaduna; Assistant Director Information Technology, Department of Research and Development, Defence Headquarters, (DHQ R&D); Librarian, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Nigerian Army, Minna; Chief Research Officer, Institute of Army Education (IAE); Commandant, Command Secondary School (CSS) Suleja; Director, Directorate of Nigerian Army Library Service (DNALS) and Chief of Staff, Headquarters, Nigerian Army Education Corps (HQ NAEC). Col Bunza assumed duty as the College Librarian, National Defence College Nigeria on 18 June 2012.

Col MM Bunza is decorated with Forces Service Star (FSS) and Meritorious Service Star (MSS). He is a Member of the Nigerian Library Association, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Youth Ambassador for Peace and a Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (FCAI). His hobbies include reading, writing and recreation.

Col Muktar Mohammed Bunza is happily married and blessed with 2 daughters.
