The Nigerian political and military elites should consider attaching importance to Defence Industry Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) by modernizing its technological capabilities in support of military operation for conventional deterrence and cyber warfare operations especially in the North East operations. Also, the Nigerian government should conduct innovations in weaponry and equipment by reliance on research, science and technology for reliability and effectiveness of the Nigerian armed forces.
