NDC/CSRS Holds Gender in Peace Support Operations Course

Gender mainstreaming has long been a goal in the field of Peace Support Operations (PSO’s)  given the disproportionate effects inequality and violence have on women and girls. Consequent upon this, it has become imperative to deliver a Gender in PSO course to prepare Military, Police and Civilian gender officers to play their roles effectively during peace operations. Hence, the Gender in PSO course will be delivered with funding support from the Government of Japan through the UNDP, with the NDC being the host institution. The course will run from 25 January to 05 February at the Bolton White Hotel, Garki Area 11, Abuja-Nigeria.
