Association of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria Pays Courtesy Call on Commandant National Defence College signs MoU

As part of efforts to promote Nigeria’s foreign and defence policies, the Association of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria (ARCAN) led by its National President, Ambassador John Kayode Shinkaiye has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Defence College (NDC) in Abuja recently.

The National President, who commended the present leadership of the College headed by the Commandant, NDC, Rear Admiral OB Daji on the actualization of the MoU, noted that the step is for mutual benefits of the both parties and Nigeria as a nation.

In his welcome address, Rear Admiral Daji stated that the MoU would provide a legal framework for strategic partnership between ARCAN and NDC, in order to enhance capacity of the College through dynamic resources of ARCAN members.

The objective of the MoU is to promote and advance the fundamental objectives of Nigeria’s foreign and defence policies, as well as, other related policy instruments towards the political and socio-economic development of Nigeria.
