Commandant Commends Participants on Occasion of International Food…

The Commandant, National Defence College, Nigeria, (NDC), Rear Admiral Mackson Kadiri has commended participants of NDC Course 28 on the occasion of the Course International Food and Artefacts Fair, held at the College premises in Abuja recently.

 

The Fair was part of the programme marking the end of Module 4, week 15 Programme of the College, tag Country Brief, in which 18 participating countries of the course carried out a brief about their countries.

Rear Admiral Kadiri, while declaring open the Fair at the College Officers’ Mess, enjoined the participants and invited guests to see the Fair as a form of cultural exchange. He inspected all stands and expressed admiration over participating countries’ effort to put such stands together during their course period.

 

The International Food and Artefact Fair was put together by participants from 18 countries comprising Nigeria, Niger, Republic of Benin, Mali, Gambia, Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Sierra Leone, Tanzanian, Nepal, Brazil, India, and Bangladesh.

The event was witnessed by some Ambassadors and High Commissioners of the participating countries and other guests from the College Community. The International Food and Artefact Fair is an annual event of the College that usually add colour and fun to the College academic programme. This year’s event paraded Intercontinental dishes, artifact, and books from the various participating countries.
