Meeting of Commandants of ECOWAS Training Centres of Excellence

The National Defence College (NDC) Nigeria will be hosting the meeting of the Commandants of ECOWAS Training Centres of Excellence from 7 – 9 May 2024. The meeting is being organized by the ECOWAS Commission with support from the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The meeting holds bi-annually and its expected to address issues around training and research on regional peace and security. The aim of this meeting is to address issues related to the training of the ECOWAS Standby FORCE (ESF) and to explore ways to enhance technical and operational partnerships  between the ECOWAS Commission and the TCEs.
