NDC Course 26 Concludes Graduation Ceremony

The National Defence College has concluded the Graduation Ceremony of Course 26 Participants on Friday 3 August 2018. A total of 136 participants graduated from the Apex Military Training Institution in Nigeria and Sub-Sahara region. Out of the 136 participants, 16 were from countries in Asia, Europe and part of Africa. These countries include Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Cote d’voire, Congo. Others are Ghana, Germany, India, Malawi, Niger, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Tanzania. A total of 10 Participants were equally from the Ministries Departments and Agencies. Additionally we had 4 participants from the Nigeria Police Force.

The graduation ceremony culminated to award and prizes for deserving participants. Group Captain OB Odeyinde got the Grand prize of the President and Commander-in-Chief and winner of the Commandant NDC Prize. This success, herald Group Captain OB Odeyinde the first overall in terms of merit, while Group Captain OO Oyesola was second in order of merit and Group Capt EP Efanga emerged the third in order of merit. Other awards include, winner of the Director General National Intelligence Agency Prize by Colonel Y Ali, winner of the Inspector General of Police prize by Colonel JO Attah, winner of Chief of the Air Staff Prize by Group Captain AO Kotun. Additionally, the winner of the Chief of Naval Staff Prize by Captain (NN) CD Okehie, winner of the Chief of Army Staff Prize by Colonel H Yanet, winner of the Chief of Defence Staff Ghana Armed Forces Prize by Col SY Asare and the Brazilian Government prize by Group Captain FCS Uwakara.
