NDC Course 26 Graduation Ceremony

 

 

The National Defence College (NDC) Nigeria graduation ceremony for Course 26 Participants is billed from 27 July to 3 August 2018. As part of the graduation ceremony of NDC Course 26 Participants, the College will observe Juma’at prayer by 1300hrs on Friday 27 July 2018 at the NDC Mosque Abuja. On Saturday 28 July 2018 by 1500hrs, there would be a Sports Fiesta at the sports complex, Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment Asokoro. Also, on Sunday 29 July 2018 by 1000hrs there will be an inter-denominational service at the PJP II Catholic Church Ushafa. On Wednesday 1 August 2018 by 1730hrs, there will be a graduation dinner and award night at the NDC Complex, while on Thursday 2 August 2018 by 1000hrs there will be a graduation lecture at the College Auditorium. The lecture will be delivered by the President of the Republic of the Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barow. The climax of the graduation ceremony is on Friday 3 August 2018. The Special Guest of Honour for the Graduation Ceremony is the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.

 

The College since inception in 1992 has graduated a total of 2137 Participants as at August, 2017. A total of 137 Participants of NDC Course 26 will be graduating on Friday 3 August 2018 from the College, making a total of 2,213 graduates that will graduate from the Apex Military Training Institution in Nigeria and Sub-Sahara region.

 

The Participants of NDC Course 26 is comprised of 54 Nigerian Army, 26 Nigerian Navy, 26 Nigerian Air Force, 4 Nigeria Police officers. Others are 10 strategic institutions of Ministries, Departments and Agencies and 16 international Participants. The international participants cut across Asia, Europe and parts of Africa. These countries are Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d’ Ivoire, Congo, Ghana, Germany. Others are India, Malawi, Mali, Niger, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
