NDC Gets Advisory Council

The National Defence College Nigeria (NDC) recently inaugurated her Advisory Council. This was to ensure constant development of the highest military training institution in Nigeria. The Advisory Council was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar. The Minister during the inauguration charged the Advisory Council to make the best use of the opportunity to contribute their quota to the growth of the College.

The Minister hinted that the Council was first of its kind in over three decades of the College’s existence. He commended the Commandant of the College, Rear Admiral OM Olotu for his vision and foresight in establishing the Advisory Council.

In his welcome address, Rear Admiral OM Olotu said that the inauguration of the Council was aimed at sustaining institutional memory and to continuously tap from the experiences of the College’s past leadership. Also speaking, Rear Admiral AG Adedeji (Rtd) Chairman of the Advisory Council lauded the Minister for bestowing the responsibility to serve and promised to bring in their experiences and meet the global best practices. The members of the Council drwan from past Commandants of the College are:
