National Defence College Pulls Out The Immediate Past Commandant Of The College – Rear Admiral Makanju Mackson Kadiri (rtd)

The National Defence College  on Tuesday,  30 March 2021 rolled out the drums to celebrate the Immediate Past Commandant of the College Rear Admiral  Makanju Mackson Kadiri (rtd). The Admiral retired from the Service after a successful military career in the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Rear Admiral Kadiri served in different  capacities  both aflot and ashore in the course of his career. Remarkable among them are; Commanding Officer Forward Operating  Base  FORMOSO,  Directing Staff at both Armed Forces  Command and Staff College Jaji and National  Defence College. He was also Director  Maritime Warfare at the Armed  Forces Command and Staff College. Others are Navy Secretary and Chief of Training  and Operations at the  Naval  Headquarters, appointment he held until his appointment to NDC.

Activities to mark the occasion include; A Farewell Parade, Pulling Out of the retired senior officer and Dinner in honour of the retired senior officer. Some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion were  Chairman House Committee on Defence, Hon Minister of Defence ably represented by Mrs Olu Mustaph and Chief of  Defence  Staff General LOE Irabor amongst others.
