Commandant NDC Tanzania Visits NDC Nigeria

The National Defence College (NDC) Nigeria recently hosted the Commandant of NDC Tanzania, Major General Yakubu Hassan Mohammed. The Commandant said that the visit to NDC Nigeria was to seek ways to enhance capacity building and crossbreed ideas between the two great institutions. He stated that the NDC Tanzania was barely 5 years old in existence but was quick to live up to its mandate in producing top strategic leaders of the Armed Forces of Tanzania.

In his remarks, the Commandant NDC Nigeria Rear Admiral SI Alade, who was represented by the Deputy Commandant Major General EG Ode, expressed his appreciation to the Commandant for the visit. He told the visiting Commandant of NDC Tanzania that NDC Nigeria is always willing to share ideas with friendly countries.

It would be recalled that Tanzania was one of the first countries to send its participant to NDC Nigeria at its inception way back in 1992. Presently, the current Course 25 has a participant from Tanzania. The Commandant NDC Tanzania later delivered a well packaged lecture to the Participants of NDC Course 25 on the topic “THE IMPACT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ON NATIONAL SECURITY: AN OVERVIEW”.
