Mr Danjuma Aku

Mr Danjuma Aku is a Research Fellow with the Department of Governance and Public Policy of the African Centre for Strategic Research and Studies (ACSRS), National Defence College (NDC) Nigeria. He joined the NDC in January 2003 from where he moved to the ACSRS in September 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Public Administration and Master of Science (M.Sc) in Public Administration and Policy Analysis, both from the University of Abuja. He is a member of the editorial board of the Centres’ African Peace Review and African Strategic Review journals. In addition, he is the desk officer on small arms and light weapons as well as protection of civilians issues at the ACSRS. His areas of research interests include peace and security, small arms and governance amongst others. Mr Aku has published journal articles to his credit and is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA).
