Ms Julie Gwangmwa Sanda
Julie Gwangmwa Sanda, is Head of Department of Conflict, Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Studies (DCPHS) at the African Centre for Strategic Research and Studies (ACSRS) where she provides intellectual direction and manages its Peace Support Operations training programmes and activities. A researcher, trainer and facilitator, she served at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) and also at the defunct National Council for Inter-governmental Relations before joining the services of National Defence College (NDC) in November 1987. Julie holds a B.Sc in Political Science from the University of Jos (1983), and a Masters in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1987). She also has attended several courses and programmes relevant to her fields of interest which are peace and security, foreign policy, gender and conflict management.
